The view really completes the place. It felt like eating aboard an old ship, and the restaurant has so much character. A little gem in Viña Del Mar. I’d absolutely recommend it for dinner. They haven’t changed the dishes, and there’s a good reason: they’re delicious. Everything was fresh, the sauces were great, and the fish was especially tasty.

We didn’t stay overnight, but had an amazing meal. Jeorge gave us great suggestions for wine and food, and the view and atmosphere were off the hook!

We weren’t guests at the hotel, but this is the best seafood in Valparaiso / Vina Del Mar. The food was delicious, unusual, and beautifully presented, and the service was excellent, warm, and welcoming. It’s a restaurant with a story: built in 1880 and turned into a restaurant in 1936. The location is perfect, with a breathtaking view from every window.

The staff and restaurant were amazing, and the location is great for a stay. We recommend booking the suite, the view was breathtaking! We met Nicolas on our first day, and he was kind enough to show us around the area after he finished work.

We used to come here regularly and especially loved the location. It gave you the feeling of being on a ship at sea. The hotel was always old, traditional, and a little funky, which I liked. The restaurant and staff were excellent, and breakfast used to be spectacular: a huge spread of made-to-order eggs, cheeses, breads, fruit, juices, avocado, cold cuts, cereals, and delicious coffee and cappuccinos. Now, like other hotels after the pandemic, they charge much more for the same room. I think there’s a new owner. Breakfast was the biggest disappointment: supermarket sliced bread, just a couple of slices of ham and cheese, and only instant Nescafe. They brought eggs on the second day after we asked. The service isn’t what it used to be either. Sad.
