Hotel Santisimo

It's in a safe, quiet part of town, and the waterfront is just a quick walk away. The rooms were clean, breakfast was sufficient, and the staff were very friendly and attentive.

Now Hotel Amalfi has a great location, but the room is too small and the price isn't worth it. The toilet leaks around the silicone seal, and the shower leaks because its doors don't close properly. The faulty lamp keeps falling over.

For the price, it's great. The rooms are small, and breakfast is small too, though it was fine for me. The staff are really friendly. I'd definitely come back.

The area is super nice at night, and the hotel is close to the plaza. But I have a sneaking suspicion we were charged taxes that apply to Chileans, even though we were foreigners. We paid by card. We'd booked a second-floor room through Booking.com that was supposed to have a refrigerator, but there wasn't one when we arrived. We didn't complain since we were only staying two days. Worse, when we pulled back the comforter, there was a blood stain. We complained, and they "changed" it, but then realized it was the same one turned over. 🥲 The room cleaning was very superficial. I went in January of this year, and from what I've read, the league is still the same. Breakfast isn't bad, but it's always the same. They could rotate the food, because what they make is good.
