The staff were very welcoming and friendly, and the location was good. There was free parking, too. Breakfast was nice, though I would have liked a bit more fruit to choose from. I liked that they had a French press and ground coffee available. The house is beautiful and very old, but well preserved. We did have one unpleasant surprise: when we closed the curtains, a huge brown recluse spider appeared.

The staff were lovely and breakfast was good, but the hostel was very expensive for what it offered. It looked nothing like the photos and was dirty and poorly maintained. The shower curtain was old and moldy, and the cable TV didn't work. Another couple in a different room felt the same way and got moved, but said their new room was just as bad. We were booked for four nights and left the next day. The owner was nowhere to be found. A disaster!
