MR Mar Suites

If I could give zero stars, I would. The room was disgusting and badly outdated, and I realized I'd slept in sheets stained with dirty blood. The bathroom sink kept clogging, the Wi-Fi didn't work in the room, and the cable cord had been cut, so there was no cable. I complained to staff and the supervisor the next day. They offered a different, larger room for an extra $91 in American. I was in room 351 in the third building, and I couldn't believe I'd slept in bloody, dirty sheets. The supervisor just said they'd look into it. There was no sympathy or apology. This is outrageous for a place that presents itself as upscale. The rooms are very outdated. I definitely don't recommend staying here, and be very wary of this establishment. Look at the pictures I left.

The service was great, and the attention was even better. It's a little pricey, but a great choice if you've never been to Reñaca. Get a room with an ocean view, though, since otherwise the rate doesn't feel worthwhile. There's no room service or restaurant onsite, but there are some really good places nearby.

The staff were friendly, and the view was beautiful. The location is fairly quiet, and the apartment was comfortable with decent facilities, though some details need updating, especially the double bed mattress. My son and I stayed at MR Suites Reñaca at the end of February 2026. We were on the third floor, and it was terribly noisy, so keep that in mind if you want complete quiet. Even with a "Please Do Not Disturb" sign on the door, they rang the bell until I woke up. The complex has three connected buildings, each tower with just one elevator, so at busy times you may have to wait or take the stairs. There aren't markets or restaurants nearby, which made shopping and going out more difficult for us without a car. The beach across the street isn't suitable for swimming. The coffee machine downstairs costs money and doesn't always work, so it needs checking. It's a decent option with good service and a lovely view, and I recommend it, though there are things they could improve.
