Hotel Prince de Galles

The surroundings were neat, and the hotel's location in the heart of town made it easy for us to get around. The staff were professional and bilingual, which I appreciated. But one night, the power went out and there was no backup generator. We had no electricity or air conditioning and sweated through a restless, sleepless night in the heat. I was really disappointed that a hotel this beautiful and prestigious didn't have another power source to keep guests comfortable. Honestly, I was surprised.

A quiet, accessible, and secure place for meetings, seminars, or workshops. Customer service needs improvement.

I enjoyed this short stay again. The hotel is in central Akwa, Douala, but far enough from the noise, and the staff were kind and professional as always. My room was clean, the service was good, and I liked the breakfast buffet. I remember lunch and dinner being good too, though I didn't have them this time. There's an airport shuttle, and they can help with reservations and airport travel. The fitness center and pool were there, but I didn't get to try them. The internet worked really well, and I felt I got good value for the money.

The main hall bathroom was cozy and very clean. The conference rooms are roomy and practical. The food was nice, too, and served hygienically.
