Hôtel la Tour d'Argent

We paid 25,000 FCFA for a room with a balcony, or it would have been 20,000 without one. The balcony was roomy, with a table and two chairs. Inside, there was a small cupboard and a table with one chair. The room and bathroom were quite small but clean, and the bed was comfortable. The hotel itself was neat. There’s a non-smoking VIP bar where the TV was on but there was no music, plus a regular bar with live music. Dinner is served in both, and room service is available too. They also have open-air seating out front. The reception area is tiny, though service was okay, and the staff were generally helpful and cooperative. A good stay for the price.

The restaurant staff were especially helpful, and the food was good. My room was very clean, with no insects or lizards inside. A very nice hotel, highly recommended.

The surroundings are pleasant and the place gets good airflow. The indoor areas have air conditioning. The cooks are good, and prices are moderate.

I liked the pool, and the rooms were okay. The area didn’t feel very secure at night, though. I’d still highly recommend the place.
