6/10
It’s quiet and pleasant, but I wouldn’t call it a four-star hotel. It falls well short of that, even though I think it may be one of the better places in its category. There’s a pool and guarded parking, and the entrance comes straight off a paved road, which is unusual in Maroua town. It’s near the main market and shops, but away from the livelier parts of town, especially if you want to find a restaurant at night. The restaurant has limited choices and closes too early in the evening. When I visited, it was a non-alcoholic place.

A nice, calm place for me, even though it’s right beside the road.

There aren’t many hotels around, so this one is among the top three. The rooms are decent, and the service is fairly professional.

It’s in a good location, but cleanliness could be better.

Not bad at all, and the surroundings are really peaceful.
