Kanas Eco Resort Hotel

There's a bonfire at night where people can hang out and relax. The location also works well for visiting the nearby national park. The room was decent, and the food was average. Since the resort is so large, meal times can mean long waits.

The surroundings and views are beautiful, but the hotel feels old and the service was pretty poor. Our room had shampoo and conditioner but no body wash. The shower pressure was weak, and the temperature control was faulty, with the water switching from hot to cold and back again on its own. The rooms are very small and have no air conditioning. There's no lift, so you have to carry your luggage upstairs. We asked for extra pillows and waited a couple of hours for them to arrive. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

With so many tour groups staying here, breakfast at 7 every morning turns into a horrible rush. I saw a few fights break out. In October, the rooms had neither air conditioning nor heating, so I had to ask reception to provide heating.

My room was labeled no smoking, but it had an ashtray. The only path to it was a footpath blocked by construction. Building materials and strings were scattered everywhere, making it very difficult and dangerous to get through. This is the only hotel I've encountered that felt dangerous.
