September 3, 2025. I found the rooms spacious and comfortable, with modern lighting and even a Baidu smart speaker. The bathroom also had a smart bidet toilet that lifts its lid and flushes automatically, and breakfast was plentiful. The Wi-Fi was free, but hardly any of the apps I normally use on the mainland internet worked, so I didn’t use it.

There are a few small shops nearby for picking up things, which is about the only plus. The hotel was cheap, but old and dated. The shower enclosure leaked, the toilet had a very visible crack that looked as if it might burst at any moment, and the TV was mounted at a ridiculous angle. I can’t understand why the travel agency booked us here.
