The snow activities are the big draw here: skiing, heated chairlifts, cable cars, hot springs, laundry, and snow slides are all free to enjoy. If you're after some snowy thrills, I'd recommend it. As of 2 December 2025, it was around -20 degrees Celsius, so you could chill drinks or snacks right by the room window. My room was alright, though everything had to be switched on and off manually, with no automatic or voice assistant. The toilet had a reversible door that could close off either the toilet cubicle or the bathroom. Breakfast had a good range of food, but not many drinks to choose from, and no chocolate drinks.

Baekdu Mountain is visible from here, and the scenery around the hotel is nice. It's an inexpensive, good family hotel, with plenty of Korean restaurants nearby. A nice base for exploring the area.
