We left right away and got no refund. Later, Booking.com messaged us saying we hadn't stayed there, which is a deliberate lie since a booking fee is charged to Booking.com. The place was a disaster. The staff seemed helpful at first, but despite booking three rooms for three people in advance, they claimed there was no reservation through Booking.com. Instead, they gave us one room for three and charged €45. We offered the equivalent of 368 yuan, handed over 400 yuan, and got only 20 yuan back. The room was awful: peeling wallpaper, curtains nearly falling down, and obvious water damage that hadn't been repaired. The beds were the only thing that looked halfway decent. The bathroom was disgusting, with a stinking drain, a broken toilet seat that was much too small, and mold in the shower. The neighborhood was run-down, the pictures were misleading, and the lobby looked like it probably hadn't been renovated since the building was built.

For 142 yuan, I got a decent room with everything I needed, even if it was a little worn. I paid cash when I arrived after booking through bookong.com. The listing said the deal was only for Chinese citizens, but as a foreigner I had no trouble getting a room. The free airport shuttle was useful; just set a time with reception and be punctual. The airport looks close, though reaching the international terminal took about 30 minutes by car with no traffic. There are shops and cafes around, and I found one that took UnionPay. No nearby currency exchange, so I had to go to a bank, which shut at 6:00 PM. I was satisfied with the stay and thought it was worth the price.

Agoda confirmed my booking and took the payment, but at the hotel the receptionist said they only take Chinese guests and would not accept foreigners. They gave no other explanation. The receptionist spoke only Chinese.
