7Days Inn Beijing Xingzheng Street

The hotel is nearly an hour from central Beijing, and although we had warned them we'd arrive after 6 p.m., we got there around 7 and were told we couldn't check in. We'd already paid and were exhausted, but the staff wouldn't help us. The girl at reception seemed apathetic and unfriendly, said the system wasn't working, and told us to leave and find another hotel. We spent an hour trying to sort it out without any help from them. Eventually we booked somewhere else and offered to arrange and pay for a taxi ourselves. The hotel called one after 30 minutes and covered only half the fare. We lost time and got very stressed over the situation. I don't recommend staying here. I also showed what that unemotional girl had been saying to us the whole time.
