A nice hotel, with good food and hospitable staff.

I’m fond of Orange Hotels after staying at a few of them. This one is tucked into a small alley on Ping'an Street, and it’s quite convenient, not far from Chegongzhuang Station on Metro Line 2. Our room was well equipped, though not very big, perhaps because it seemed to be underground. It had no windows, but did have two orange trees and a fish tank with little goldfish, which was a distinctive touch.

The place is small, but the service and cleanliness are good. It’s easy to get around with a subway nearby. The one downside is there’s no breakfast.
