A.C. Art Museum Hotel

The location is really good, with a beautiful terrace, and the room and bathroom were clean and had what I needed. I stayed two weeks and would come back for a shorter visit, or ask in advance for a larger room if staying longer. The rooms are smaller than at similar hotels in the same category, and closet space is tight. There were too few hangers; I asked at least five times and none ever arrived. Breakfast was really bad, so I'd skip it and eat outside. You also have to get a ticket from reception every day to enter the breakfast restaurant.

I booked two double rooms at Ac embassy hotel, but when my guests checked in they were given twin rooms. We assumed the hotel had accommodated our request for twins. The next morning someone told them they had to move rooms or pay extra to keep the same twin room. My guests refused to move, so the extra charge fell to me. They didn't provide a higher room category, yet still charged for the twin rooms. They're taking unnecessary money from clients over their own mistake.

It's an older building, though it's still kept in decent condition. There aren't many staff around to help guests. I think it's in the city centre, since Sanlitun is less than a five-minute drive away.

The room had a food menu, but staff said they don't take food orders, only buffet meals in the cafeteria. The website promised wireless internet, yet the room only had a wired connection. The jacuzzi bathtub didn't work; when I called, the manager said none of the hotel's jacuzzis work. Staff didn't understand basic English, and when we asked for cutlery they told us to come downstairs and collect it ourselves.
