The room was clean and perfectly good, and breakfast had enough choice, with Chinese and Western items like bacon, sausages, eggs, bread, and cereal. The free Wi-Fi barely worked, with download speed around 0.13 Mbps. Getting around by public transport isn't convenient, so you'll need Didi. There's no shopping mall close by, though plenty of mostly Chinese restaurants are within a 10-minute walk. Convenience stores are limited. This is the embassy area of Beijing.

For the price, this is an okay, moderately upscale hotel, and breakfast had a nice spread. The pool was closed, and even the non-smoking rooms smelled of smoke. Staff didn't speak English and didn't seem well trained in hospitality.

The people were really nice and helpful. Not everyone spoke English fluently, but we managed to communicate. The price was pretty good too when booked through a hotel booking site. We spent most of our time in the city, so didn't try the pool.

Breakfast was fantastic, and the hotel has two restaurants inside. The rooms were clean and well equipped, with fast room service, and the staff were kind and well trained. There's also a money changing machine in the lobby, and a gym. Accommodation was reasonably priced. Without traffic, it's about 45 minutes from the airport and 30 minutes from Beijing center.

The Wi-Fi didn't work, and both the gym and pool were closed. I won't stay here again.
