Alex made our stay memorable. He went out of his way to make us comfortable, and the friendly atmosphere he and the other guests created was great. We had an unforgettable time and would happily stay at his inn again. Apricot Courtyard Inn is a real hidden gem in Beijing’s Hutongs. It can be tricky to find the first time, but it’s well placed for exploring central attractions, and a metro station nearby makes it easy to reach the outskirts. The rooms each have their own style and are decent. There’s also a tiny dorm room for two, just big enough for bags and a bed. The rooms open onto a pleasant courtyard with an apricot tree where you can relax. There’s a kitchen guests can use, plus a basement bar and common room. Highly recommended!
