The free shuttle was excellent, and the room I got was spacious and clean, unlike the rooms in the review photos I’d seen on Google Maps and Trip.com. Maybe I was just lucky. I’d arrived with very low expectations after reading those reviews, but everything else was fine and I slept comfortably. The bed did feel a bit hard. This was a good layover stay, arranged free because I had a long transit flight with Air China.

A decent option for the price if you have a long layover, since it’s not far from the airport. My room was clean, and the women at reception were very friendly and spoke a little English.

The one good thing was the shuttle bus, which arrived on time to take us to the airport. Otherwise, this was easily the worst place of our three weeks traveling through Vietnam and staying in all sorts of accommodation. It reeked of cigarette smoke and had cockroaches. Don’t book it. Never again, I’d rather sleep in a chair at the airport.

The airport pickup and drop-off both went smoothly, and the place was very quiet, so I got good sleep during the day. My room and bathroom were large, and everything was clean. I was in Beijing for 20 hours and found it great value for the price. A taxi into the city takes about an hour and cost roughly 10 euro. It’s obviously not a 5 star stay, but well worth the money, and I’d stay again.

The mattress was hard as a rock, and I had some trouble communicating with staff. Still, the room was spacious, the free airport shuttle runs hourly, and the AC was great, which was all I needed. I had free access through a stopover with China Air.
