The only real problem was the shower drain, which was very slow. Otherwise, the whole family was very happy with our stay in this hotel/apartment. The lobby feels luxurious, the receptionists were friendly, and they gave our boy a stuffed panda souvenir. We didn’t have breakfast because of our schedule, but there were plenty of options on the way to the subway. The station is about a 15-20 minute walk, or you can take a shared bike. Our room was unusually spacious for Beijing and cost a little over 500 for the night. The big bed could easily fit four people. There was a mini kitchen with a refrigerator, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher and kettle, plus free bottled water, glasses and cups. I didn’t see any utensils, and I’m not sure if you can ask for them. There was also a dining area, desk, couch, dressing table and a couple of wardrobes with lots of storage and bath robes.

We’ve stayed at Bai Fu Yi Hotel (Beijing Bai Fu Yi Hotel) twice as a family, and the staff’s care made both visits memorable, even with the long journey from our home in Singapore. Mr. Jack Fan (Yunxin Fan), the Front Desk Assistant Manager, handled our reservations and special requests thoughtfully, made us feel welcome as returning guests, and was attentive from the moment we arrived. He often seemed to anticipate what we needed, quickly sorted out a minor issue, and offered helpful recommendations. Our room was always spotless thanks to the careful work of Mr. Zhao Ze Liang (Zeliang Zhao) from housekeeping, whose friendly manner also added to the stay. At the gym, Mr. Liao Yihan (Yihang Liao) gave professional advice and assistance that made working out relaxing and rewarding. The dedication of the Bai Fu Yi Hotel staff left a lasting impression on my family. I’d recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a memorable stay in Beijing, and suggest asking for Mr. Jack Fan, whose service could make guests want to return.

We stayed in a family room with two large, comfortable beds, and there was plenty of space. The room also had a washer, drying rack and scale. The hotel entrance looked beautiful and made a strong first impression. There are a few restaurants within walking distance, though the selection is limited. Sanlitun, with its large shopping and food area, is about a 15-minute walk away.
