The location was a real plus, with good places to eat nearby and the Drum and Bell Towers close enough to visit. The towers were interesting, too. It's also easy to reach the Metro, including from Beijing Airport. The beds, though, were uncomfortable.

I spent three nights here and would happily come back. The bathrooms were really clean, the front desk people were friendly, and there are great places close by. You can also arrange trips through the hostel, like one to the Great Wall. Highly recommend!

I didn't sleep here, so I can't say anything about the rooms. I did stop by the bar, use the WiFi, pet their cat, and book a Great Wall tour with them. It's a cool hostel in a good spot, and the staff were helpful.

Getting around was easy thanks to the subway access, which I really liked. It seems like a good option for backpackers and budget travelers, with free WiFi and other things available. Check their website for more.

Definitely no-frills. The rooms feel cramped, both in floor space and ceiling height. At least the Metro is nearby, along with places to eat and have a drink.
