The staff were really nice and helpful, and spoke English too. The room felt dated and didn't look as good as the booking photos, especially the bathroom, where even sitting properly on the toilet was difficult. The mattress was too hard as well. Laundry was pricey at ¥20/kg.
We booked online and unfortunately found the room very dirty, particularly the bathroom. We stayed for two days and came away disappointed. Its location near the main areas earned it an extra star, but for a stay longer than two days I'd suggest somewhere else.
Recently renovated, and close to the underground and the main street.
The staff were helpful and spoke English, and there was very good free coffee, proper espresso, which was especially nice first thing in the morning. Our room and bathroom were both very clean. The room's air conditioning could blow hot or cold air, but the bathroom had no heating and felt cold in November. It's a 15-20 minute walk to the weather station, and the lively pedestrian shopping street is very close.
Free coffee was available all day and tasted great. The location was good, the room was fine apart from the hard bed, and the staff were friendly. Lam Lam especially did everything to help.
