The room wallpaper was coming off, and it smelled strongly of disinfectant. Breakfast was available, but it was just preserved vegetables and steamed bread. We came away feeling like we'd paid to stay in a prison, LOL. I was there in 2015. When we carried our luggage into the lobby, we had to go through security. I had a lot of electronics in my bag, so they made me open it to be checked. My things spilled all over the floor, and I had to pick them up by myself.

China Air put us here during a transit, and the whole place smelled of cigarette smoke. The ceilings were water damaged, and the walls and furniture were dirty. When we closed the door, the door frame fell on us. Reception didn't speak English.

The rooms are decent, and there's an airport shuttle every hour. The hallways, though, are badly lit.

On October 31, the hotel's night service crew acted like they were extorting foreign visitors into paying twice for rooms reserved by Air China, whose fees were included in the air ticket.
