This sits on an old street with lots of character, narrow spaces, and very little going on at night. The Shijia Hutong Museum is around the midpoint of the road and is worth noticing. Our room picked up a little smoke from the stairwell and other rooms. The central heating kept it warm in winter, and the decor looks modern, perhaps from a renovation about five years ago. TV choices are limited, with no news channels. Breakfast and evening drinks are just passable, though there are plenty of small restaurants on the main street to the east, Chaoyangmen S St. Brewed coffee and bottled water are available. The staff are helpful, speak English, and are around 24/7. They were happy to carry bags and take laundry out of the machines. They offer daytime transport and transfers, but it's worth comparing the cost with Didi. The metro is a 10-minute walk from the west end of the hutong. In the Amap app, the place is listed as "Spring Yingxiang Hanging Garden".
