We called ahead after booking to confirm we could have the room type and floor we wanted. When we arrived at 11 pm, Atour said that room was occupied by other guests and that there was nothing they could do. They showed no regret, wouldn’t give us the manager’s name, and the boss was rude on the phone without offering a solution. After staying in all sorts of hotels across quite a few countries, I was hugely disappointed by ATOUR. Worst experience ever. Don’t stay here, pick another hotel.

Breakfast looked good, and they even have takeaway containers. There are also a couple of shops about a five-minute walk from the hotel. I had a good stay.

The hotel feels tucked away at a remote corner, which made getting around inconvenient. There were hardly any decent restaurants or convenience options nearby, and the hotel itself had very little food to choose from. Breakfast was a letdown too, with few options and little change from one day to the next. The rooms were cramped, especially for a longer stay. Internet was extremely slow and unreliable, so working or streaming even basic content was difficult. Staff were polite, but there didn’t seem to be enough people to help guests during busy periods. The place has potential, but several things need work for a comfortable stay.
