The staff were kind and friendly, though there may have been a language barrier, so I won't complain about the service. The room, though, wasn't clean or sanitary, and I'd suggest staying elsewhere. It's a long-established hotel, and at this price I suppose this standard is acceptable. The location is ideal if you're using T2, about a five-minute drive away. It's a 15-minute walk, but I don't recommend walking.

The room was spotless and completely quiet, and the value was amazing, more worthwhile than the Great Wall of China. Reception staff even spoke English, the only people in China I heard speaking it. They also run a free shuttle to the T2 and T3 terminals every hour.

My room was clean, and the staff were friendly. I also got a pleasant surprise when they upgraded me from my original room to a suite. I arrived late, around 2:30 am, and just wanted a shower and sleep after my flight. The air conditioner in room 2940 seemed broken because it wouldn't cool below 25 C. The minibar fridge was warm, so the drinks were barely cold, and the shower drained so slowly that I had to turn it off every few minutes to let the water go down.

I was exhausted after landing at 10:30pm, but I couldn't risk spending the night here. The rooms smelled of cigarettes, and there were stains all over the walls and carpet. Wallpaper was peeling, the air conditioning didn't work, and there were signs of mold everywhere. This was the most disgusting hotel I've ever stayed in. DO NOT STAY HERE.
