A handy choice for foreigners, with Dongzhimen train station and its AirPort Express nearby, along with restaurants and supermarkets. The staff were professional and focused on customers. Rooms were clean, well organized and inviting. Highly recommended.

There are lots of restaurants nearby, and the location is practical, roughly an 800m walk from several metro stations. Lama temple is about a 1500m walk away. The room was spacious, with a great desk for working on a laptop, and the sound insulation kept street noise down. Breakfast was just average and didn't seem worth RMB 125. Staff spoke very little English.

I planned to stay four days, then extended for another full seven. Over the 10-day trip I stayed in three different rooms, all super spacious compared with other hotels in the same price range. Staff didn't speak English, but they tried their best to understand and accommodate requests. Asgar deserves a mention: he would order late-night McDonald’s for me and also showed me a nice pub nearby. The WiFi was flaky and only let me connect one device at a time.

Affordable and worth what you pay. Breakfast is nice, and free breakfast and WiFi are included. There are restaurants on both sides of the hotel. To the right, you'll find the subway and McDonald. Staff don't speak English, but it's unfair to expect that when you're in China :)
