Crystal Orange Beijing Anzhen

By the third day, the room had become so hot that it reached 28.5°C by night, and the portable fan staff brought did little to solve the problem. We had children with us, and as the weather warmed the stuffy room became especially uncomfortable. The trouble started on day one, when it was 4°C outside but the room still felt humid and hard to breathe in. We noticed no air coming from the vents. After the same conditions continued into the next day, we called the front desk and were told the centralized system could provide warm air only, with no cooling. When we complained again, staff repeated that explanation and suggested opening a window. We initially had a positive impression of the hotel, but this response was unacceptable for a place of this standard. If the air conditioning cannot cool the room, why does the control panel let us adjust the temperature? Telling guests to open a window does not make up for inadequate ventilation.

Trendy interior design, and the hotel feels new.

Breakfast had lots of tasty options, with the menu changing each day. Getting around was easy too, with subway access on both sides of the Third Ring Road.

It was lovely here. I visited in May that year, when willow catkins were blowing everywhere.
