The room wasn’t in the main building but in the building next door. It had no central heat and stayed freezing during our entire 6.5 hour stay. The place smelled overwhelmingly of smoke and mold. Apart from freshly made beds, the room wasn’t fit for guests. There was a used bandaid and a sunflower seed shell on the carpet, along with stains, bald patches, and assorted debris. The bathroom smelled strongly of mildew and mold growing on and around the tiles, so we couldn’t use it. The sink seemed not to drain properly, because turning it on left water on the floor. The mirrors had white stains and debris, and flies or gnats were on the drapes, walls, and ceiling. In several places, some substance had stained the walls and dripped down to the floor. This deserves less than one star.

The staff were helpful, but the room was freezing, the shower leaked, and the place was dirty with lots of construction going on. I regret choosing it as our last hotel in China. At least now we’re really looking forward to flying back to the UK.

It’s close to the airport, and there’s a cheap shuttle service. The hotel itself is old, somewhat messy, and dirty. With no streetlights outside at night, it feels unsafe.

I honestly haven’t stayed anywhere this bad. The room cost 250 RMB a night and smelled terrible. At first I thought the stink was from the bathroom drain, but it was actually coming from the bedside table.
