Just okay.

They wanted extra money for checking in after 6, but that wasn’t mentioned on the profile. They contacted me in the morning while I was travelling, then sent a cancellation message in Chinese at noon when I had no internet. I happened to check my phone at 4 pm and found out I’d have nowhere to sleep when I arrived. I booked through booking, and this felt like a major rip-off.

There are several restaurants nearby, and the mutton noodles were delicious. They were open late, too. For anyone transferring through Beijing Daxing Airport, this is a great location. I walked from Caoqiao Station, but be aware the entrance is around the corner. If you go north from the wide street on the south side, you might think you’ve arrived before you reach it. The front desk staff were very friendly, and someone spoke English. The shared toilets and showers were quite dirty. My roommate snored a lot, but free earplugs helped.
