The breakfast buffet turned out to be great, even though I wondered what I would eat as a Muslim. I had bread, butter, jelly, several kinds of juice, boiled and poached eggs, pita cake, and other things. The room was small but didn't smell bad, and the location near Dongdan metro station was really good. We also found a restaurant near KFC serving paratha, fried egg, and vegetables, which worked for us. From here we visited the Great Wall, Summer Palace, Forbidden City, and Quanmen Street. I recommend this hotel based on what I saw. Thanks for reading.

The location was the one real plus during our four-night stay. Although the hotel says it's non-smoking, people smoked in the lobby and the smell reached our room, so we kept the window open the whole time. The room itself was tiny and nothing special. We paid for breakfast, which was below average. When we raised the smoke issue, the staff weren't very helpful. We had a really bad stay and wouldn't recommend this place.

The rooms were spotless, with cleaning, fresh towels, and bottled water every day. The hotel is in a perfect spot, only 50 meters from metro lines 1 and 5, and the lobby staff are friendly. They speak a little English and are always glad to help arrange a taxi. Breakfast has plenty of Chinese options, plus fresh fried eggs, toast, jam, and coffee for Europeans. The croissants and other pastries could be better.

The room was a little cramped, but housekeeping and towel service were good. The location is excellent, right by a metro stop, cafes, and places to eat.
