The room is spacious, and the automatic toilet opens its lid when you enter. The doors to the toilet and bathroom are heavy, though, and slam shut unless you open them wide. They provide Crabtree shampoo and body foam, plus disposable toothbrushes. Housekeeping kept checking if we wanted the room tidied, and the concierge can accept parcels. The lobby is huge, and two robots bring food deliveries or vending machine purchases up to your room, which is pretty cool. There’s a restaurant with Peking duck, though we didn’t try it. Right next door are another hotel and a spa.

The hotel is close to a metro station and a few fast food places. Our room was large and nice, and breakfast had loads of choices. The dining area was spacious and nicely furnished. A great place to stay, highly recommended.

Getting around is easy, with the subway nearby and bikes usually waiting out front. The rooms are immaculate and up to date, and housekeeping does a great job attending to guests’ needs. Staff are excellent. The managers on shift speak a little English and can help when needed. The food area for Gold members and above is well hosted, and guests are treated very well.

It’s super nice, and being new makes it better than a lot of other Beijing hotels. My room smelled fresh, and the new duvets and towels were clean. The toilet is fully automatic, even opening and flushing without buttons, and the shower felt fresh. Reception speaks some English. I’d recommend it, though I didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment on that.
