For a PEK airport transit, this is a simple, convenient place to stay. Its main value is being close to the airport, and the limited services are about what you'd expect from a transit hotel. The interior is comfortable and attractive, in keeping with the Fairfield brand.

Disappointing for an airport hotel to have neither a restaurant nor room service. Reception didn't seem to care and sent us to a restaurant across the road that was closed.

This brand-new Fairfield by Marriott near Beijing Capital Airport made for an impressive stay. I'm a Bonvoy member and often stay with Marriott, and I've sometimes found Fairfield properties inconsistent. This one exceeded my expectations across the board. The room was spotless, well kept, and completely odor-free, which I especially appreciate after a long trip. Breakfast was served in a beautifully designed space. Staff were professional, welcoming, and communicated well in English. It's convenient for a transit or short stay in Beijing: Terminal 2 is 2.6 km away and Terminal 3 about 3 km. A premium DiDi ride cost around 30 RMB. Highly recommended.
