The free shuttle between the airport and hotel is handy, and the drive takes under 10 minutes. Breakfast was an extra charge, but I thought the buffet was well worth it, with plenty to choose from and a good range of hot and cold drinks. My room was clean and the bed comfortable, and the shower had great water pressure. The concierge was super friendly and helpful. A plus.

The room was unbearably hot at 26°C. We had booked this Marriott because the listing said there was air conditioning, but the front desk told us management had shut off all the AC and suggested opening the window. That meant dealing with the noise of central Beijing and a construction site next door. For a hotel at this price, that was completely unacceptable. After a long flight, we also found the restaurant closed at 9 PM, even though it was advertised as open until 10:30 PM. We had to find dinner elsewhere and didn't speak Chinese. Staff spoke almost no English, so we relied on Google Translate. We've stayed at many Marriott hotels around the world, and this was by far our worst experience. The misleading listing, poor service, and uncomfortable room didn't meet Marriott standards.

Opened in fall of 2025, this Four Points by Sheraton Sanlitun feels chic, modern, and practical, and represents the brand well. The beds are very comfortable, and The Mesh serves an extensive breakfast. Guests can also use the complimentary self-service washer and dryer. Love it!

They said a regulation meant they couldn't turn on the AC, but we later found out that wasn't true. I wouldn't go back.

The hotel is new, with lovely spacious rooms and really friendly staff. It's not far from the main places to visit. I'd definitely recommend it.
