Great wall adventure park

There's hardly anything around the place, and the in-house restaurant is the only spot to eat. There are hotels in town where you can stay and at least find some life. Here it feels like being in the desert. Don't stay here if you don't need to.

The suite was a corner room with panoramic views of the city and mountains, and it was comfortable enough that I'd come back to Aloft Beijing Huairou. The area was super quiet at night, probably because it's in Science City, and I slept very well. The room had a delicious cake waiting, and the upgrade to a suite was a lovely surprise. Beforehand, I chatted with the front desk through Bonvey App and they explained that an upgrade would depend on room availability. Check-in that night went very smoothly. The breakfast selection was acceptable, and the lobby restaurant on the first floor gets the rising sun. I especially recommend the fresh salad bar. The fitness facilities and swimming pool were well equipped. The bathroom had Kohler fixtures, and I really liked the toilet's automatic washing and drying bidet seat. Aloft Beijing Huairou opened in Huairou District in 2024 as the first Marriott hotel there, and it's located in Huairou Science City.
