A comfortable airport hotel with a big, comfortable bed, a clean room and plenty of charging points. The bathroom was clean too, with very hot water. There’s not much around apart from a small convenience store out front, and there are no food options. The hotel seems to be in the middle of nowhere, but China 🇨🇳 feels safe everywhere, so there’s no need to worry.

The location is perfect, and the rooms are clean and nice. Breakfast is acceptable but not good, with no tea or coffee. Reception staff speak good English and are friendly, as are the cleaners. We found the drivers taking us between the airport and hotel very stressed, both when they picked us up in the evening and when we left in the morning. They don’t speak English either. It would help if the hotel offered some kind of food around the clock, so guests wouldn’t have to rely on the very limited nearby supermarket. I’m satisfied with the hotel and would consider booking again.

What stood out was how willing people were to point you in a direction, even when they might not know the answer. Only a few people at the airport spoke English, though. There were four people who did, and the airport itself was absolutely phenomenal.
