The staff are great, attentive, and helpful. Some areas of the building could use a deep clean, though it looks good at first glance. It's really hard for foreigners since none of the employees speak English, but I got by using a translator.

The location is good, but that's about the only positive. The place is scruffy and needs renovation, smells of smoke, and the staff are rude. They also don't speak English, despite booking websites saying they do. During our stay, the hotel locked us out of our room and called the police because they apparently suspected we were Russian. I don't know why that would matter, especially since they'd seen our UK passports and transit visas at check-in. The police checked our names against a list, then told the manager off for wasting their time because we clearly weren't the people they were looking for. The hotel never apologized, and we'd done nothing wrong.
