Happy Dragon City Center Alley Hotel Forbidden City

The rooms were spacious and very quiet, and they stayed lovely and warm in winter, so we slept amazingly. The hotel is halfway down the alley rather than on the main road, but it was easy to find. Reception were friendly, spoke great English, and helped us arrange an airport taxi as well as Forbidden City and Great Wall tours. Breakfast and water were provided too. We had a fantastic stay and would definitely come back. This was the best hotel we've stayed in.

The staff were lovely, and I'd definitely go back. They sent us regular updates about the weather and visa requirements, and offered to answer any other questions we had. We used their transfer service, and they also offered visits to the Forbidden City and Great Wall. Breakfast was great and prepared by the staff. You can ask about any intolerances or preferences. They also shared restaurant recommendations and city tips, including that most state buildings are closed on Mondays.

The rooms are comfortable and roomy enough, and the hotel is simple but clean and well maintained. They leave complimentary bottled water and tea, too. The staff are friendly, speak English, and are happy to help, which made our first trip to China much easier to manage. Metro, shops, and restaurants are all close by. I'd recommend it.

We had a lovely stay. The room was basic but comfortable, and housekeeping came every day. Breakfast was included, with both Chinese and Western options. Jia Ning and the rest of the staff were so helpful and accommodating. The hotel is also well placed, an easy walk to the subway and lively streets.
