Getting around was easy since it’s in a central area, and we found it convenient to reach places. The staff were also friendly and helpful, which made for a great stay.

The reception staff were kind and polite, and the service was good. The location was okay for getting to Wangfujing and the subway.

The staff were very nice, but I still wouldn’t recommend staying here. The hotel felt poorly managed and wasn’t clean, and the mattress was low quality despite being advertised as the opposite. The location was also misleading: I booked because it was advertised as near “Wangfujing,” but it wasn’t close at all. From what I saw, it seems to be a locals’ hotel for people visiting family in the area. Stay away.

We were glad to get moved to a bright, sunny room on the fifth floor, and it had everything we needed. Fresh water, toilet paper, and towels were replenished each day. The Hi Inn Dongsi Station in Beijing is in a great central spot, close to two metro lines, so exploring was easy. Cleanliness was generally good, and the staff were lovely and helpful. There’s no breakfast, but we found plenty of bakeries and cafes nearby. It was a wonderful stay and very good value.
