Hilton Garden Inn Beijing Guomao

I was happy with my stay from 19 - 22 September. The hotel felt new and was clean, and the staff were helpful. Breakfast depends on what you like, but the choices suited me: coffee, toast, eggs, and fruit. There was plenty more available and it looked tasty. I'd definitely come back, and wouldn't hesitate to book here next time I visit Shanghai.

Kevin was incredibly kind and helpful. My partner and I had accidentally left one of our bags behind, and he went out of his way to get it sent to the airport. He really saved us and made the stay a great experience. Thanks, Kevin!

I spent three nights here on a business trip. One thing to know first: the hotel's pin on Google Maps is wrong. It should be beside the Yilong Enterprise Limited Company building, between the Fairmont Beijing Hotel and the Crystal Orange Hotel. The six-floor building isn't new, but it's been kept up well. Yong'anli Subway Station Exit C is about 400 meters to the north, and the Guomao CBD in Chaoyang District is only one stop away on Line 1, which makes the location handy for business travel. Check-in was quick. My King Guest Room was on the 5th floor, with lots of space, a king-size bed and four soft pillows, a desk, mini-fridge, open wardrobe, and a big window facing the apartment. There was also a 55-inch smart TV with Chinese streaming services and free Wi-Fi. I liked the lighting controls, which let you switch between reading, sleep, cinema, and bright modes, and the smart toilet. Its remote controls cleaning water, drying, flushing, the warm seat, water temperature, and spray speed. That could be especially useful for guests from Southeast Asia who are used to washing with water. There's a small gym on the 6th floor, but no swimming pool. Breakfast tasted good, though the selection was quite basic. It's unfortunately not Muslim-friendly, with only a few options such as bread, fruit, boiled eggs, salad, and vegetable dishes. Ask staff which foods are halal, or there's a halal barbecue restaurant about 500 meters north.
