Hotel Kunlun Beijing

I had a comfortable, pleasant stay in this beautiful hotel. The rooms are large and comfortable, and the front desk and concierge staff are friendly. Mr Ji Fu Wei at the Concierge desk was especially helpful and professional when assisting with my questions about parcels. Thank you.

I stayed for two weeks and really enjoyed it. The room was spacious and clean, and the linens were clean too. The bed was comfortable, the amenities were great, and the staff were friendly. I loved having a jacuzzi in the room. There were plenty of food options at the buffet, and the clear elevator gives you a view over the city that looks especially beautiful at night.

The breakfast was nice and the rooms were comfortable, though a little run-down. But most of the staff weren't helpful or considerate. The check-in was long and chaotic, barely anyone spoke English, and nobody seemed to smile. At the pool, guests were only allowed in if they bought an overpriced swimming hat. I've never encountered that elsewhere, and the staff wouldn't budge on the rule. For a hotel in this location, I expected staff to be as helpful as possible.

The rooms are huge, and I found the hotel very comfortable overall. Its location works well if you're spending most of your time in Chaoyang, and it's close to the capital airport. They seem to cater mostly to locals, so staff English was limited. I didn't try breakfast, so I can't comment on it.
