I stayed for four days in February 2023. The staff were very helpful, and the facility felt new and was well maintained. The room was quiet and clean, and the breakfast buffet had good local specialties. The restaurant on the 4th floor, if I remember right, was really good. It was a little pricey but worth it. The subway line 2 station is a 10-15 minute walk away, along wide sidewalks that felt safe. One thing to be aware of: there’s an elementary school beside the building, and it can be noisy if your room faces north. I’m not sure why Google Maps has two listings for this hotel, but this should be the one near the crossroads and overpasses. I’d stay again if the price is right.

The lounge is on the 3rd floor, and as an IHG Diamond member I got access to it, free breakfast, and a room on a high floor. The hotel has a luxurious Chinese style, and my room was spacious, with a nice couch and tea table. It came with a traditional tea set and four kinds of tea, plus a small plate of macarons delivered just after check-in, which I enjoyed with my tea. I liked the bathroom’s unusual layout. Sliding wooden panels separate it from the main room, and when they’re all moved aside the space feels much larger. There’s a beautiful freestanding bath, a shower tucked into a niche, and a toilet at the far end from the bed. Different lighting options let you set the mood. I ordered room service too, and the sautéed lamb was very good. One note: the Google Maps pin is in the wrong place, and it doesn’t allow corrections. The hotel is farther southwest, at the intersection of Yuejialou and 4th Ring.

The breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choices for different tastes. It’s a high-standard hotel, and I’d recommend the rooms too. I also got a birthday surprise, which was so nice. Thank you!
