Ibis Beijing Sanyuan

The rooms were fairly clean, but noisy and smelled of cigarettes despite being designated non-smoking. The hotel needs a thorough modernization. The desk attendant also forgot my requested morning wake-up call. Breakfast was Chinese style only, with no Western food.

Now called CitiGo Hotel Sanyuan, it's a trendy, very modern place for travelers who like having IT close at hand. The rooms are cool but quite small. There's smart check-in and a laundry room for washing clothes, plus plenty of other good points.

The room was okay, modern, and tidy, but there was no hairdryer and no bathroom fan. The subway and airport express are very close, though there isn't much around besides a branded mall. Breakfast needs improvement: the food wasn't heated, and the orange juice tasted like concentrate.

A direct airport express ride gets you here in just two stops, so there's no need for a taxi or bus from the airport. The subway is close by too, and there's a nice mall nearby with good restaurants and clothing shops. Nice hotel and very good location.
