The hotel is tucked inside a compound, so you won't see it from the main road. Turn right off the main road into the parking area and go inside to find it. The rooms are small but neat, with tea and coffee provided. It's a clean little boutique hotel and reasonably priced. One thing to know if privacy matters to you: every room has see-through glass bathroom doors.

Lee at reception made check-in easy and helped me sort out sending a parcel, which was a relief since I don't speak Chinese. The service was friendly and went well beyond what I expected. I stayed at the ibis Beijing Tiantandongmen in June 2024. The room was comfortable and clean for the price, and the location made getting around the city convenient. I'd recommend it for the helpful service, comfortable rooms, and location.

The staff were a bit unfriendly when I first checked in, but things changed later that evening and the next morning. I received great service then and would gladly stay again. As a UK hotel manager who knows the ibis product, I was pleasantly surprised by the standards. My room and bathroom on the 4th floor were very clean.

Just a five-minute walk to the subway and Temple of Heaven, which made the location really convenient. The staff were friendly, and the room was basic but had what I needed. Good value for the location and what I paid.
