It's 800 meters from Tianamen square, in a touristy but nice area. The staff are helpful, although we had to communicate using Google translator.

I was only there during a layover, and wished I could have stayed longer. The rooms were so clean and comfortable, and the receptionist was very helpful. The location was amazing, with a great street for walking, shopping, and photography. Highly recommended.

Booking this through Booking.com turned out to be a pleasant surprise, since finding hotels in China as a foreign visitor can be difficult. The room was exceptionally clean, with good climate control and a heated floor that was especially useful in China's usually very cold weather. The receptionist was also very helpful. I'd recommend it without hesitation.
