Jinjiang Inn Beijing Wangfujing

We were left walking around Beijing at 2am after an 18-hour day, trying to find somewhere to stay. Our flight was delayed, and we had contacted the hotel about arriving late. We even received a confirmation email, so we know they got the message, but they still gave our room away. Apparently, if you haven't checked in by 6pm or told them you'll be late, they cancel the booking and give the room to someone else. The night staff didn't speak English and were disgustingly rude. They didn't apologize and blamed us for everything.

I stayed almost five days. The staff were really friendly and tried to help however they could. My room's WiFi didn't work, but they quickly offered to move me. The hotel felt secure, too: the lift card only worked for your room's floor, and WaiMai delivery riders weren't allowed upstairs, so you had to collect food downstairs. For a better room, choose the queen room over the business room. The business room is basic and cramped, while the queen room is more like a 3-4-star standard. The exterior isn't much to look at, but for the price in Beijing, it was good enough. The location is superb, right at the end of WangfuJing. Crowne plaza hotel is next door, the Apple store is a five-minute walk away, and there's a 711 in the same block. Siji Minfu, the famous Peking duck restaurant, is also five minutes away. Go before it opens at 11am to avoid the crazy evening queue. I'd definitely stay here again if I visit Beijing.

The location is superb. The room was small, but it was fine for sleeping and taking a shower, and both were good. Nobody spoke English, though Chinese people generally don't speak much English.
