The room photos are lovely, but the noise was awful. I could hear the family next door as if we were in the same room, including their child crying and screaming. The wall behind the bed even sounded hollow when I knocked on it. Starting around 4 or 5 AM, people kept banging loudly on doors, probably tourists heading to the flag-raising ceremony. We had to put up with it for all three days, and changing the tour group's arrangements wasn't possible. The doors are heavy and hard to close gently, but they still do almost nothing to block sound. There is massage service, though not every day, so check the hours. I was exhausted after climbing the Great Wall and the Forbidden City, but luckily the masseur was on a break!
