There are good restaurants and a very nice mall nearby, and I appreciated having self-serve laundry. Breakfast was very good too. The hotel is a good little place with great staff. It’s not the best area or especially convenient for the major sights. Renovations are happening close by, though we didn’t notice any noise.

The concierge team were quick to respond and helpful, and I appreciated the boys assisting us. The washer and dryer were a real plus, although there were long queues at peak times. Breakfast was okay, but after four days it felt repetitive and didn’t have a wow factor. Our room was clean and vacuumed every day. The one next door had someone smoking every night and morning; when confronted, he denied it. Housekeeping reacted quickly and aired out the lobby, and the Lv5 housekeeping team deserves recognition for the effort. I had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the staff’s hospitality. Because the hotel was being upgraded, our original penthouse booking was changed to individual rooms for two. Reservation manager Ms Wu Di was thoughtful and very helpful in making sure we were accommodated, and even came out of the office to help us check in. My Accor Platinum membership was recognised.

The free laundry and dryer service was great, and the fitness centre was decent for a hotel. There’s a McDonbald's, KFC, and a nice shopping centre close by. The hotel was nice, and the Western breakfast buffet was okay, though nothing remarkable.

The one thing I liked was the 24-hour self-service laundry. Otherwise, the facilities were poor, the room felt outdated and run down, and breakfast wasn’t tasty. JIULONGSHAN subway is a 15-minute walk away.
