My son and I found the room comfortable and clean, with a fridge and kettle. The location made getting around easy: the metro is walkable, as are Tiannanmen Square and the pedestrian street. There’s a convenience store beside the lobby, and its owner, Mr Xing, was always pleasant and friendly. I’d happily stay here again on my next visit.

We found the staff kind and friendly, and the location was very good. Cleanliness was acceptable, too. But cigarette smoke in the corridors really affected our comfort. Our first room was near the staircase, where guests seemed to gather and smoke, and the smell there was overwhelming. We moved to another floor closer to the lifts, but the hallway still smelled strongly of smoke.

Breakfast and the cleaning were good, but I found the bed too hard, even though my girlfriend liked it. There was no hot water in the shower, and the gym basically didn’t exist. Taken together, it didn’t feel like good value for money.

The room was a little dated, but spacious, and there was DIY Laundry available. The location was the real draw, close to the Subway and Wangfujing road, with malls nearby and Qianmen pedestrian Steet just one station away.

The room was roomy and clean, and the subway was just 160m away. There’s also a chinese muslim food restaurant nearby. A great choice for a Beijing holiday.
