Palace Hotel，Beijing Yizhuang Bridge

The onsen was wonderfully relaxing after a full day of walking, and it's why I chose this hotel. The room was comfortable, with a wide bed and space for large suitcases. I booked one with a window. Breakfast wasn't extensive, but it covered the basics: noodles, salad, fruit, eggs, and changing dishes. The service was nice and consistently helpful. I often saw the maids working, and they had very good manners. The hotel is outside the city at Yizhuangqiao Station on the Yizhuang Line, which connects to Line 5 of the Beijing Metro. It's close to the station, just across the road after you exit. Getting to city attractions by train takes about 40 minutes, and a Didi to Wangfujin takes around the same. There are two or three restaurants beside the hotel for a quick meal. For a large shopping mall with a supermarket, fast food, restaurants, toy and gift shops, get off one station earlier in that direction at Jiugong Station. I thought the hotel was worth the money.
