The hotel's Tibetan restaurant is well worth trying, and there's also a temple on the grounds that visitors can see. It's in a great spot in the old town, surrounded by small shops and plenty of restaurants, with a bus stop close by and the sights easy to reach. The hotel also houses Tibetan provincial government offices where official meetings and events take place. Our room was spacious, nicely furnished, clean, and well looked after. A superb hotel, highly recommended.

The yak dishes were new to me, but I enjoyed them. They were tasty and had no unpleasant smell. I also tried butter tea, which made me feel like I was in Tibet.
