Ramada by Wyndham Beijing Airport

The room was simple and practical, but also huge, clean, and very comfortable. Even the bathroom had plenty of space. We only stayed one night, yet it became the best hotel experience of our trip, thanks to the staff. We arrived late in Beijing and chose Ramada by Wyndham Beijing Airport for its shuttle. Booking the shuttle was quick and easy. I hurt myself while putting my luggage on the bus, and when we got to the hotel, front desk staff Erik Zhao and Lucy Tang immediately offered help. They brought bandages and a medication spray for the pain, and even helped us order food delivery despite the late hour. Their care really stood out. A great option near the airport.

We had only positive impressions of the hotel. The breakfasts were good, and the transfer driver was very friendly. At reception, Nina was a wonderful, friendly young woman who helped us a lot and gave my child a pink children's room. Many thanks to her for that! If airplane noise bothers you, you know where you’re staying, and there are earplugs.

The old-school shuttle from the airport worked well and was pretty cool, and the receptionist spoke good English. But I’d pick another hotel if you don’t want a non-smoking room that smells like smoke. Even the bathroom had that smell. As other reviewers mentioned, you can hear the planes, though flights are quite limited at night.

When I landed, I went to the airport information desk to ask about local tourism or a hotel. I told them where I was staying, and a woman called the hotel in Chinese and arranged a shuttle just for me. It arrived in 20-30 minutes, which was a big help. The hotel staff weren’t necessarily fluent in English or other languages, but they kindly used their phones to communicate. That was good enough for me, and I’d happily book the same hotel again if needed.
